Description of our establishment:
Jaci’s Lodges are situated in the Malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve boasting 75 000 hectares of top ten territory. You can expect to see Wild Dog, both Black and White Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Spotted and Brown Hyena, Cheetah, Giraffe, Buffalo, Elephant extensive plains game, including Eland, Gemsbok, Springbok and Red Hartebeest, as well as 340 species of birds.

Description of our child care facilities and services:
From the moment one arrives through to departure each family’s unique needs are specially catered for:
• Special rate for all children aged 12 years and younger on stretchers sharing the room with their parents
• Jaci’s chefs meet the children and discuss the options of their evening meal (remembering to include vegetables to keep the moms happy!)
• Family orientated game drives – our guides creatively include specialized activities and questions during the game drives to inspire and encourage involvement from the children by involving them through tracking skills, survival techniques and even how to brush their teeth!
• A fun entertainment room provides table soccer, ping pong, a selection of books, puzzles and games for all ages. Jaci’s does not have TV’s, DVD’s or play stations for children (or adult) entertainment
• Swimming pools with a walking step that runs around the circumference of the pool, built especially for Jaci’s daughter Savanah so aptly called “Savanah’s steps”
• Child minding during game drives and the evening meal is included in the special children rate
• “Jungle drives” especially for children 4 yrs and younger at Jaci’s (as they do not go on the family game drive vehicles) lasts anything from 30 minutes to an hour; your guide will take your children out and allow them to experience the thrill of the wind in their hair on an open game drive vehicle as well as seeing wild animals roaming free in the wild – impressionable indeed
• Jaci’s child minders will look after your children whilst you are enjoying a glass of wine and a suburb fire cooked meal after a day of new experiences and activities.
