Our Story

Marina’s eagerness to be involved in the Travel & Leisure industry started in 1994, when travelling in the UK and Europe. With this enthusiasm she decided to study Travel & Tourism through correspondence, whilst still overseas and working in a well-known European Coach Touring Company in London.

She then already began to have visions of having her own business in the industry one day and on her return to South Africa in 1997 she continued to work within travel both in Cape Town and then Port Elizabeth, working on her experience and skills in the industry.

Marina was then blessed to start a family and now has two beautiful daughters. Being a Mom and the continuing desire to have her own business in the Travel Industry, she saw a niche in the market in 2008 and decided to specialize in the Travel & Leisure needs of family and children. Hence ‘A star was born – STARS IN TRANSITION’

My vision for STARS IN TRANSITION is to be one of the leading ITC Leisure Travel Agencies based in Cape Town, South Africa, specialising in Blended Travel (combination of Business & Leisure Travel) and Family Travel, offering all-round global quality travel services specific to its clients personal requirements,  making for memorable and fun-filled safe travel and holidays!
