Welcome to Amsterdam. Relax and unwind after check-in or take a leisurely stroll through this unique city. Tonight, join your Travel Director and fellow travellers for a sightseeing Welcome Reception cruise, aboard a canal boat. Enjoy a light meal and welcome drink as you travel through Amsterdam's famous waterways.

In Amsterdam, enjoy an orientation of the historic city centre. Admire Rembrandt's masterpiece the ‘The Night Watch', during your guided Small Group Sightseeing tour with a Local Specialist of the Rijksmuseum. Visit a historic diamond polishing factory for a Cultural Insight into the traditions of cutting and preparing diamonds for export. During the flowering season (April until mid-May), an included visit to the tulip fields of Keukenhof is sure to dazzle, with several million flowering bulbs planted across a 70-acre site.

The Hague - Delft & Rotterdam Excursion
After a leisurely morning, travel through The Hague to the historic town of Delft. Visit the Royal Delft Pottery workshop for a Cultural Insight into the manufacturing of this hand painted porcelain. Continue to Rotterdam, the most important river port in Europe. After a short city orientation, visit the Euromast Tower for spectacular panoramic views of the city and the famous harbour. The rest of the afternoon is yours to spend as you please before returning to Amsterdam this evening.

In Haarzuilens, visit the magnificent gardens of fairy tale De Haar Castle. Continue your journey and stop in the historic fortified city of Maastricht. Enjoy free time to explore the city before continuing to Bastogne. View the American Memorial, erected to commemorate the 76,890 American soldiers wounded or killed during the Battle of the Bulge. Arrive later at your hotel in the Duchy of Luxembourg. Dine tonight at your hotel.

Luxembourg sightseeing & at leisure
This morning, visit General George S. Patton's grave. Your walking tour of Luxembourg with a Local Specialist shows you the sights including the breathtaking gorge of the Rivers Alzette and Petrusse, the Cathedral and the Grand Ducal Palace. The rest of the afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. Your Travel Director will be able to advise on how to get the most from your free time in the city.

Visit Orval Abbey, a Cistercian monastery famous for producing Trappiste beer. Continue your journey and stop in the pretty town of Dinant, birthplace of Adolphe Sax – best known for inventing the saxophone. Later, arrive in picturesque Bruges and join your fellow travellers this evening for a special Be My Guest dinner at an 18th century farmstead.

Admire the sights of Bruges including the town square during your walking tour with a Local Specialist. Cruise along picturesque canals during your sightseeing cruise and visit the Lace Centre for a Cultural Insight into the production of this local speciality. Bruges - Gent - Brussels (2 nights)
Visit the beautiful city of Gent and see the three famous Gent towers – Saint Nicholas' Church, the Belfry and Saint Bavo's Cathedral. This afternoon in Brussels your Travel Director shows you the city's highlights, including the Atomium, Royal Palace, Japanese Pagodas, the Grand Place and the famous Mannekin Pis.

Today is free for you to do as you wish. Explore the Grand Place, join a beer or bike tour, or simply relax in a café and watch the world go by. Your Travel Director will be able to assist you to get the most from this leisurely day. This evening, celebrate a wonderful trip with your travel companions at a Farewell Dinner.

Depart Brussels
This morning bid farewell to your fellow travellers and take home many special memories. Airport transfers are available. Conditions apply. Please Note: Your coach returns to Amsterdam from Brussels on Day 10. You are welcome to use this complimentary transfer. Drop-off in Amsterdam will be at the Trafalgar Amsterdam hotel and not at the airport. Arrival will be at approximately 3pm, depending on traffic conditions.
